Good to see that we are smarter than that here. I can't believe the number of people at work that are complaining about it. Most of these people make more money than me too!

Nice! I bet you had to jump through hoops to get the money back. It is better to have overpaid them instead of short paying them. Then you have to pay penalties, interest and a late charge!

Sledding, tubing, snowman building, snowball fights, ice skating and skiing. These are the things we do with the kids in the winter. In the summer we play all kinds of sports, go to the zoo, take vacations, go to the pool, ride our bikes and take walks. I'm sure there are a lot more things...

My dad and I can pretty much fix most things that break. I'm lucky though because I have cousins who work in all types of fields. I have an electrician, plumber and mechanic in my family!

Wow! That is horrible. I can't imagine not having internet at home. I hope Comcast is quick. When I have a problem at home with my internet I just take my stuff to work. I can always get online there.

So right now I imagine the credit card statements are starting to roll in from all the Christmas purchases. My wife and I did not use one single credit card this year. We saved money all year and bought everything with cash. How is everyone else doing? Did you tape off your mailbox? :)

Oh - that is sad. I hope that you were able to spend some time with your family (parents, siblings, etc.). I bet each year it will get easier and easier. I'm not in your boat but I can imagine it really stinks.

Ha! Showoff! I bet it was a pretty steep hill too. I love tubing! I will have to check out our ski lodge to see if they have something like that here. We go to a local state park to tube. It's fun but not a huge hill. There is no pulley there though - so it's all walking!

I am really glad to see the Chiefs out too. It's not looking really good right now for the Bengals. The Chargers are giving it to them! It doesn't surprise me though. It's been 20+ years since the Bengals won a playoff game.

Well we gave it a shot. I think our problem was that we cooked the chicken in the hot sauce. My wife then strained the chicken and dumped the remaining sauce out. The wing dip was really dry and not even a tiny bit spicy. I took out a couple of scoops and added more hot sauce. It was really good...

I hate rough nights. Is your oldest sick now? Holidays sure do make things tough at our house too. How old is your oldest? I hope you get more sleep tonight.

We still have our tree up too. We usually take it down a couple of days after Christmas. My wife really is enjoying the tree this year - so are the kids. I think we will take it down on Tuesday.

You have only had them a couple of months and they already don't fit? I don't wear them but that sounds a bit off to me. I would think once you were fitted you could wear them for years before you needed any major adjustments?

Ours is too! I love the holidays because of this too. My wife is taking out the pan of lasagna and freezing it tonight. She is going to freeze it in individual pieces for my lunches! She really loves me!
