I had a couple warts last year and I used Compound W, but I wasn't really impressed with it. If I ever need something like that again, I think I'm going to look for something different.

We stay home for Thanksgiving, so the cost is all on us. We don't really budget for it. It's just one of those extra expenses that pops up occasionally. Since we don't have anyone else contributing to it, it usually runs us about $200, but that also feeds us for the whole week and beyond.

It could have been a bird. Or a few birds. They crash into our windows once in a while, so it seems feasible to me that they could fly into a screen and cause tears like that.

We're going to be using a bassinet in our room for a while. I'm not sure how long though. This is our first and we aren't really sure what to expect, so we're just leaving it kind of open ended.

Have you thought about taking a week of your vacation for the first week and then maybe working half days during the second week? That should give you a good amount of time to enjoy the baby being home.

Holy cow!! Are you guys kidding me?? $5,500 to $14,000 for preschool???? How does anybody afford that? My wife is due with our first and if I wasn't totally freaked out before, I am now.

My sister and her family live far away. I see them maybe once every year and a half to two years. We were never all that close though, so I don't really give it much thought. Other than my sister, all I have is my dad and my wife's family and they live close by...sometimes a little too close by :)

I think I am the only guy among my friends and co-workers who eats fruit everyday. Granted, I eat it on a daily basis because my wife packs it in my lunch, but still, I like it. Do you guys eat a lot of fruit?

I think that's normal for everyone from time to time. I know I have days when I just can't seem to get the gears in motion. Actually, I even go through phases like that where I feel tapped out for a couple weeks. She'll probably be back to normal soon.

Women can be so confusing sometimes, can't they? I know with my wife when she says, "Leave me alone," I had better hightail it out of her sight for a while. On the flip side, I have some friends whose wives say that, but they actually mean the opposite. How's a guy supposed to know what to do?

I agree with Jason - the chair can make a huge difference. I got a new chair last year that changed everything for me. Now I actually look forward to long stretches at my desk.

I think I see what you're saying. If she was paying for a regular insurance plan the additional $200 would make sense because you would be helping her with the premium payment. But since they have coverage through the state...yeah, that really doesn't make much sense. Have you consulted a lawyer...
