If in doubt, give her a gift card to Victoria's Secret. That always seems to be popular at my house. My wife likes to get her underwear there (I guess that's what you call do dads fancy as them). My wife uses some type of perfume from there too so it's always a good gift.

Have you thought of a waterproof mattress pad? There are some now that aren't plastic or rubber, but are made out of some type of fabric. I wish they had been around when my bunch was that age.

Yeah, I do. One winter we had an ice storm and I used my grill to cook on for three meals a day for 10 days. I found out how to cook a lot of things then. I can bake on a grill with the best of them now.

What a horrible thing to have happened. It was not the best week for them, huh? It's one of the worst things to happen to anyone anyway but to have that coincidence happen is one in a million. I hope they get their unemployment started quickly and find jobs quickly.

Well, it's better than my sitting on the floor and coloring with mine. :D I would do anything for those children though. I would walk on hot coals for them.

It's hard to tell when someone is going to "go postal". It takes very little to set some people off. I've heard a lot of stories like that and you always wonder what was the last straw for a person. Everyone also "what-ifs" all of the time too.

My daughter's first "real" bra. I'm telling ya, the rest isn't far behind. Next will be the dating and boys calling then prom and....I don't want to even talk about the rest.

I honestly think that both parties will impede progress as much as possible while blaming the other party. It's the way things have always been done, but I'm hoping things will change.

That sounds great. I love to take the family to things like this. It really helps to get everyone in the spirit of Christmas that way. I know it makes me feel more festive.

It should be balanced, but then I think tax payments should be balanced. I think a set percentage of all of it would be the way to go, but I'm not sure that's ever going to be the way it's going to be.

We have a town near us which has a spectacular light show every year. They change some every year so it's a different show. Then they have a "Santa Village" at the end of the light show. It is really a great show and I try my best to take the family every year.

I have gone with my wife's idea of gifts for the kids this year with one exception. I have decided my step son and my son are going to go camping in the spring, just the three of us. I don't think my wife is going to like this since she won't be included, but I think we all need a bit of male...

We used to put some fruit they liked in their stockings. We also used to put in things like socks, gloves, money and so forth in there too.

The only thing I've seen any of them doing is to help themselves. If we were to be able to make sure none of the involved parties could make money from lobbiers, companies, or any other source rather than their salaries, they would be able to be a bit more impartial.

Well, the reason I had them is because I have small stones pass through the urinary tract. I have had to be hospitalized for kidney stones before but I'm usually able to pass them at home. I have small "gravel" that I pass undetected at times but that's why I have this UTI.
