I am happily married but if I was a single father with kids I think it would be easier to date a woman who either had kids or wanted kids.

It does take two people to make it work. When a third one comes in, watch out! I know I don't always hold my tongue when my wife gets on my nerves. She can do some crazy things. But somehow we are making it work. I'm too old to get a divorce, plus I'm not leaving my little girl. I love my wife...

I probably would not have a problem with it if my wife does not mind it either. I think in my particular situation, I could actually have more time to work on my own online business/hobby and earn money more leisurely. I really don't care what people outside of my family thinks.

I understand that you weren't looking for it at this point in your life, but being a father is awesome. It can be tough but it is so rewarding. Also, look at it this way: by starting young, you'll be younger when the kid(s) move out and can have more fun than us old fogies.

I think that is too young. He is just out of high school, has not had enough time to get life experience. Still, one of the best fathers I know became one, reluctantly, at 19.

Well, Obama just made an announcement saying that religious organizations are excluded. They do not have to provide birth control coverage for their employees. I am just glad that insurance is going to have to start paying for it. That can be a big expense...not as big as a baby though.

Yeah, I know a guy who made a mutual decision with his wife to go to school and while he was at school trying it out for the first semester, she divorced him via the mail then wouldn't let him even talk to the kids on the phone. It was ugly.

I am not in this boat but I would never pick on or disrespect any stay at home dad or any dad who makes less money than his wife. Hey it does not matter to me who makes the money, as long as someone does.

I've only been married a little over 3 years, but so far I do not find it difficult. We get annoyed with each other occasionally but rarely argue. The kids are the biggest stresser for us; we tend to bicker more when they are driving us crazy.
