    Murder so foul

In the news, there was a story of a man that murdered two of his kids and wife before taking his own life. What drives some people to doing such heinous acts? Is their conscience dead or something?

    How many is too many

'How many' is relative. I have a cousin who has two kids and she has no intention of getting another one. Nonetheless, 18 and still counting? That is incredible.

    Yes, I clean.

I think no man ever meets his wife's standards but probably that is what nature intended it to be. I love a clean environment but at the same things get messy really fast.

'Daddy, where do children come from?'

Has this question ever popped up in the middle of nowhere while with your kid(s)? What would be your perfect answer or what would quickly pop into your head?

    Not wanting the job

I hope they do notice and appreciate your willingness to acquaint them. I agree with you Jared that possibly the kid will turn away and that will be the time he will really need him.

    Losing little things

I keep all my things stuffed in my pocket then later on have a really difficult time trying to trace them when in need. Interestingly, I don't easily loose these items.

    Dealing With Boyfriends?

At 12 I don't think there is anything to worry about though I agree your concern is genuine and authentic. I am sure the 'boyfriend' has parents so it depends on whether or not you know them. Take time to ask what the cold shoulder is all about and you might be surprised all she wanted was to...

    Like father like son?

I would want my son to be himself while at the same time having elements I possess and also perfect my imperfections. For example, I would want him to be a good listener and not an introvert because I think I am both.

Ever lied on the phone about your location?

I have a friend who is a cab driver who loves to lie. One day, he lied and I happened to be where he had parked his car. We laughed it off but he said that is called 'lying for convenience's sake.'

People you simply cannot cope with

That makes the two of us lamant plus once that bridge is broken, it can never be repaired. Cruise's analogy is interesting but somewhat true. There are people I would never picture seated next to.

    Want want want

Expensive indeed, but worth the effort. They are a blessing but at times we need to be firm and not let them have everything they want. That is the easiest separation of a need and want.

    Not knowing your limits

My neighbor's daughter is getting used to her parents sharing details about other people, who are grown ups. The last conversation I heard was how her uncle is mean and loves to keep away from family. I find this to be awkward because I grew up in a different setting. I never even knew who my...

    Not wanting the job

I think he should take advantage of the step-son's attitude to him. It is not easy to come across such characters. In most cases, you find that the son is not ready to even know him. Maybe he learned to be a husband and not a 'father'.

The plight of a single dad

I know it can be hard for a single dad to manage custody of children that were so attached to their mother. I would never limit their movements neither would I force them to stay with me. How would you go about this yourself?

    Single fathers or single mothers?

True, it depends on your personality. I would not say any is better than the other but as has been mentioned, mothers have an in-built instinct. It is best to have the kids raised by both parents but in the case that this is not the case, differences should not be let to spill over to the kids.
