    Plastic surgery for teenagers?

I guess it depends on the individual situation. Breast implants just for the heck of it I would not agree with. However, if a kid had a ridiculously large nose and felt really bad about that I might agree to a nose job.

    Christmas Movies

We own most of the big ones on DVD and my wife will pop them in throughout the month. I was never a big holiday movie guy, but I don't mind watching them. I've actually even kind of gotten into Bing Crosby a little more in the past few years.

    Popcorn.

I haven't had stove popped popcorn since I was a kid. I do vaguely remember it being a lot better than the microwave stuff. And when it comes to stringing popcorn for the tree, my uncle taught me a great system - string one, eat two :)

    Christmas music

My wife gets so hyped up about the holidays and most of the time I think it's really cute, but she is driving me nuts with the Christmas music already. We used to have a local radio station that played Christmas music 24/7 from Thanksgiving until Christmas and that wasn't so bad in years past...

    Cleaning Up the Mess

My wife usually cleans it up. I tried to help one year and she didn't like that I was just scooping up huge armfuls of paper. She was afraid a small present or something might get caught up and thrown out by accident, so she took over. That works for me - more time to play with my new "toys" :)

    How many times?

I know this is a personal question, but I figured I'd ask anyway. I have a buddy who is currently going through his third divorce and I'm having some trouble relating to him. I can see that all of his marriages had some pretty big problems and I don't blame him for getting out. I just don't...

    Holiday weight

I've listened to my wife complain for years now about the weight she gains around the holidays and now it has occurred to me that as I am getting older I have the same problem. It never used to affect me, but I know I put on some weight last week. I'm sure I'll be able to burn it off without a...

    Being Thankful and Giving

We donate to Toys for Tots and any other organization we come across that is looking for help. I make sure to always have cash on me for the groups that stand out in front of the stores, not just around the holidays, but throughout the whole year.

    Christmas Expectations

Yea, my son isn't old enough to be into electronics yet, but when the time comes he is just going to have to get used to not getting everything under the sun. I'll have no problem getting him a few things that he really wants, but I'm not breaking the bank for video games and stuff like that.

    Family reunion

My family has a huge reunion every August, but I stopped going because it's usually a disaster. You just can't get 50 or 60 related people together at the same time without a problem. Not in my family, anyway.

    Just a little jealous...

I think the only real solution there is to pay more attention to your son when you're around your nephew. And include him in playing with the baby. He should start to take more of an interest as the baby gets older and becomes more interactive.

    Fathers and Sons in Politics

Ugh, don't even mention the NWO - that scares the hell out of me. As for fathers and sons in politics, I don't think it's a bad thing. There are a lot of cases of kids following their father's footsteps in politics, but there are also a lot of people in office who don't have otherwise political...

    Whites

Our whites are never white - something the wife is always complaining about. I think our problem is our water though. Have you tried that Oxy Clean stuff? I've heard good things about that.

    New washing machine

I just asked my wife and she said she still uses hot water for things like sheets and towels. So, on these new washers, there is not hot water option at all? I don't think she'd be happy with one that didn't give her a choice.

    Holiday grab bags and work.

This might sound like a cop out, but I'd put in a gift card. If you work with both men and women and you need a unisex gift, I think a gift card to a restaurant would be good. I know that's not very creative, but when it comes to things like grab bags and Secret Santas and all that I just take...
