    Spare time

What spare time, right? How about the spare time you get when your other half takes the tot (or the tots) away for the day and just leaves you to do your own thing? I have a week off work and no idea what to do.

    The ultimate fathers day gift

I would rather have the cash that came from selling the watch. :) Honestly to me the best part is when you do not have to change a diaper on Fathers Day, now can I get an amen to that. :)

    The dumb things in life

When are you (or are you) going to tell your kids about the dumb things in life that you have done? I am wondering if there is a certain age that is best for this, or maybe, never?

    Safety around the grill

We keep a fence around our grilling area only because the dog is very nosy and has before ended up almost tipping the entire thing over. Can you imagine big dog + collar + leash + grill = mad summer party fun?

    Happy Fathers Day

Thanks! The day was awesome, full of home made breakfast, lunch and dinner. The quickest way to a mans heart is through his stomach right? The day was awesome without a doubt, the only thing to make it better would be to have today off to recover from yesterday!

    Proud of my daughter

Kids are tougher than we sometimes think. My buddys oldest was in a wreck with him (someone ass ended them) and his son fussed for like the same time span your girl did (no one was hurt but the car was for sure) and then was okay like "Whats all the fuss about".

    Lack of a pantry

The only way we could get a pantry in our kitchen or near it is to cut into part of a bedroom downstairs. I am really not looking to do that so instead we are working towards moving into a new home within the next 5-10 years. How important is a pantry to others though, just curious here?

    Coupons

Our store has a bonus card thing and the double coupon days which oddly fall on my day off so I am okay with it. Plus for me it also gives me time to read the paper in peace.

Video games are not family time

I think it depends on the family and I actually know an entire family of gamers. The ages of the kids range from 5 up to 17 and they all game with their parents in the same guild. It can be done, but it depends on the family setting too.

    Bathing your baby?

It was scary to start with but what tops bath time is nail clipping time. That I fully avoid at all costs, I am too quick sometimes myself and get a pinch. I would hate the idea of pinching a kiddo between the nails.

    Coupons

I like to clip them, I guess its a destress type of thing for me but it also saves me money (and I like that too). Who else here is a coupon clipper? Dont be shy, you know the money you save you can buy something manly with. :D

    Fruits and Vegetables

I think kids just go through stages like adults do. Sometimes I love veggies and sometimes they need to go away for a little bit. My friends kid is about 6 and will put any food in dipping sauce, even hot sauce, so oddball like.

    Breakfast for kids

I do not think it always has to be hot either, sorry but when its over 90 outside the last thing you want is a hot breakfast, sometimes you want a cold one. We just get creative in our house, but I do remember a friend I went to high school with was only given the choice of hot foods int he...

    shaving

I am dangerous with a pair of scissors, never give me a straight razor! Really though I do okay, but sometimes there are nicks. I just sum those up to battle scares. I am not that much of a morning bird and I would need to be awake for at least 3hrs before not nicking myself at least once.

Mothers Who Spank More Likely to Have Aggressive Tots, Study Finds

Very interesting. I remember one guy I went to school with actually was kicked out of the kindergarten class. I never even knew it was possible to have that happen to a kid.

    How Long Do They Watch?

Right now the computer is used more than the TV is unless its a Mama and Papa show which is most times seen during the later nights (we tend to be night hawks lately). I would much rather kids grow up doing more things that being sucked into TV land.

    Women with Tattoos....Good or Bad?

:D I do not really mind and I know many people of both genders who are considered "freaks". I remember I used to date a girl whos dad told her to stop painting her face so much. To me there is a difference between art and trash, good tatt's are not trash.

    Eating better

This is something we are working on trying to do house wide, not just her and not just me but both of us for the sake of our child (and future kids). I just do not see the reason why people get lazy about their health.

    Boys and girls

Just healthy, anything else I can deal with. Boys have their issues and girls have their own but I just want healthy. It seems other than trying to make use of hand me downs, there's no point to wishing for either/or.

    My House, My Rules

Nope your notes say it all, to me it does not matter who enters my home. If you can not follow the rules do not let the door hit you on the backside (that's how I was raised).
