School is winding down - plans?

Nope, I don't get time off whenever I want. I'm in the army and I do what I'm told! I can apply for leave in the Summer, however, and I usually take my daughters away to visit my parents for a week, then my ex takes them somewhere for a week. I still get to spend weekends with them unless I'm...

    Movies taking a dip?

If the USA is anything like the UK, the cinemas are pricing themselves out of business. Not only does it cost an arm and a leg for cinema tickets, but it also costs an obscene amount of money for drinks and snacks once you're inside the cinema, plus you can't take your own!

    My life has changed!

Thanks guys. My ex and I are on fairly good terms, except when we disagree about our daughters, but I am far from the suicidal jerk I was when we first split, so I know that time heals, and she is happier now at least.

    Pregnant Wife

I'm glad for you and it's nice to know that a child is welcomed as there are too many that aren't. I'd love to have another, but I'm in a new relationship and have yet to divorce my wife, so there's a way to go yet!

    Weird dreams!

Do you have crazy dreams ever? Do you even remember your dreams? I don't usually, but these past few nights I've been waking really early after dreaming that I'm in a crowd of people and I've lost my wallet. It's a different scenario every time, but I'm always searching, and I know that I've...

    Quick & Easy Dinner Ideas

My kids would live on pasta and cheese if I allowed it. Now that we're separated, I often have my daughters on a weekend, and have to cook for them, however I find it easier to take them out to eat or have a pizza delivered.:p

    Weaning the Baby

It's a shame that she feels that way. My wife was pleased to get the girls weaned as soon as possible, though she continued to breast feed as well for some months afterwards. I got the impression that she was glad of the freedom when she finally stopped!

    Women - Too Much Bulk?

I'm happy with a woman who looks like a woman, and not one who looks like she could kick my ***! I don't like over developed muscles on a female, I'm afraid. What I find sexy is a small waist, a buxom bosom and comfortable hips, but that's just personal preference.

    Wanting more kids!

My new girlfriend has really put me in my place! She says it's far too early in our relationship to be talking about babies, and I have to admit that she's right. She has a little girl already so I'll be content with looking after the kids I am already responsible for!

    Wanting more kids!

I've been visiting with my cousin, his wife and their 9 month old son. He is so cute that I'm feeling the male equivalent of "broody". Who'd have thought it? I'm separated, in a new relationship, with 2 beautiful daughters and here I am wanting a baby in the house again!

    Salt

I also like my food to be pretty salty and I've tried low salt products, but always go back to salty. Have you measured your blood pressure? If it's normal then I wouldn't worry. Mine is, so I figure my body is taking in just what it needs and no more. Too little salt is just as bad for you!

    Bad memory.

I wouldn't worry about it, unless you have some really serious memory lapses, like you wake up somewhere strange and can't remember how you got there! If alcohol has been playing a part in the situation I just specified, I still wouldn't worry about it but, if not, go see your doctor.

    Family pet.

We acquired our dog when the girls were still very young, so we always knew that they wouldn't have much responsibility for him. They were given guinea pigs a little while ago though and, according to my wife, they aren't looking after them, so I fear the guinea pigs will soon be given to...

    Burgers & Dogs

I did the mowing on Saturday and, since we have a public holiday today here in the UK, as well as in the USA, I have arranged to collect my girls from their mother's house, and we'll be going somewhere fun for the day. Here's hoping the sun continues to shine!

    A worrying trend.

A British soldier was murdered in London the other day, in daylight, by a pair of fanatics. Yesterday I saw a report that a French soldier was stabbed in a similar incident. This is a worrying trend and I hope it's not a sign of something more disturbing!

Do girls cling to their dads.

I've got two girls and everyone tells me that the youngest one is a "daddy's girl". I have to admit that it's true. My eldest is definitely a "mommy's girl" though and will always back her mother up against me.:)

    Hangover movies

I don't know where I've been while these have been showing but they're news to me! (I have been overseas, actually.) Today I saw Bradley Cooper being interviewed on TV about the third one and it looks a bit zany. Are they comedies or action films?

    Low Red Blood Cells?

That's anemia, right? It's common here in the UK and usually doctors say that you need more iron in your diet. They can give you supplements and they recommend eating things like liver. I've read that it can be hereditary but if your doctor is investigating, he'll soon let you know.

    Overdoing the presents.

I have thought about it and, although I give her regular maintenance payments, my ex is going through a hard time financially at the moment. I think I'm afraid that my kids may be missing out on stuff that they don't necessarily need, but are accustomed to having. Maybe I'll cool it a little though.

    Overdoing the presents.

I've been separated from my wife for a while now, and regularly take my daughters out at the weekend. I find myself buying them more and more stuff, and my ex is complaining that I'm overdoing the presents to make myself look better to the kids. I don't think I am. Would you stop?
