With the holidays coming up what do your kids do in a houseful of relatives if it's too cold to go outside? Mine play spoons when they're not fighting over video games.

If he's not overweight and seems to be an active kid then don't worry about it. We ate a lot when we were younger and it just doesn't seem like that now.

I don't think splitting up the kids is a good idea because then there'd end up being contention between both sides but I guess unless you're in that position it's really hard to know what to do.

I noticed on the commercials they flashed Toy Story 3 right before the commercial. Is that on DVD now too? I like the Toy Story movies better than Cars because there's more 'adult' jokes.

A woman with four kids died in her sleep from a sleeping pill overdose the other night. She's a nurse and had problems with drug addiction, infidelity, the whole nine yards. It's just sad. Police are calling it an accidental overdose but what else can they do?

ABCFamily is the channel to watch for Halloween movies appropriate for children. Their series are a little too advanced for even teenagers in my opinion but they keep their movies family-friendly.

Watched it last night-Thursday. It's a different format-the videos were more clips of MTV idiot shows (or reality shows if you prefer) and they got off the couch more. Same teacher, references to Twilight, STDs, etc. Glad it's back, glad I watched it, won't watch it again.

I miss nights like that. We did that a lot growing up but now that we're in the city I can't give those to my kids. The closest we come is to do hayrides at the local produce farm.

I watched a few shows of Season 1. I might give it another chance because I can catch up with it on my cable's OnDemand channel.

The ones that are doing good mentally probably have an IRL support system that's better than ours. Not saying we don't but we are getting something here that we're missing in real life and I think that's true for the majority of people.

My sympathy goes out to the Wheldon family today. Dan was killed during the Las Vegas Indy 500 when there was a massive pile-up. You hate to hear about something like that.

I like Sister Wives but I don't watch this show. I think what Regis meant was that when the kids are older some of them might not be able to support themselves financially and shouldn't have tons of kids.
