A little friendly advice...

My wife's best friend just found out she is pregnant for the first time. This is good news, but I'm a little concerned about her husband. He tends to be self centered and likes to be catered to and I think when this baby comes along it is going to turn his world upside down. I was thinking about giving him a little pep (prep) talk the next time I see him. Or should I just stay out of it?

Good question

I think that if it were me, I would wait for him to say something about it himself. Then use that as an opportunity to give him the pep, prep, talk. That way he might be a little more open to what you have to share.

I wouldn't necessarily stay out of it, but definitely wait for an opening from him or he might take it the wrong way and go on the defensive.
