I have been thinking about getting contact lenses since my eye sight is deteriorating and it's not always practical for me to ware glasses, do they irritate your eyes a lot? My ophthalmologist says they are perfectly fine, but at the end of the day he is a salesman to.

They are not that bad, as long as you remmeber to blink (something people with contacts usually do). Most of the new ones are quite comfortable and much more practical than glasses in my opinion.

I had a hard time when I first switched to contacts. After I got used to them I realized how much I loved them. I only wear glasses when I absolutely have to now.
