Cubital Tunnel Syndrome

A few days ago I was experiencing sharp pain in my left hand around the pinky area and shot down to my elbow. It was so bad that I couldn't move my pinky at all. I went to the doctor and she told me it looked like Cubital Tunnel Syndrome (which is caused by the nerves in your elbow to be "pinched" affecting the hand). I was shocked and scared because I never had a syndrome before and was worried about having surgery.

Fortunately, all I needed to do was not rest my elbow on an armrest when I type and take tylenol to relieve the pain. That did the trick and I am feeling a lot better now.

If you do a lot of typing, don't rest your elbows on your armrest for too long.
