Daughter won't let me help

My three year old daughter is on a "Mommy kick" lately. She won't let me do anything for her, even something like getting her a cup of milk. It always has to be Mommy. Last night she kept waking up and I went into her room the first three times, but she kept telling me, "I don't want you!" My wife finally went in there and it took her about a minute to get our daughter back to sleep. What the heck??

It's a phase and I'm sure she will outgrow it soon. I think all kids go through this. I would keep trying to help her though. Sooner or later she will let you and all will be well again.

Your wife must be going crazy. It's hard to be the one they always need. Polamalu's right though; it's a phase and soon will pass.

My wife is going crazy, Victor! I have been continuing to try, but some days it's really frustrating because I feel like I did something wrong. I know that's not the case, though.
