Good News?

I can't remember when was the last time I got good news when I sent out my resume for job application. Either they can hire me but with special working conditions or with some part time arrangement. When was the last time you got a decent offer that you were happy with?

I think it was three years ago, when I got my current job. I am pretty happy with the job and not currently looking for another job.

My wife applied for a job a couple of years ago that she was very qualified for. She scored 110 on the application. During the interview, the interviewers kept stressing that money was tight. She turned it down because they weren't willing to pay her what she's worth.
