My wife's feet are really swollen. She says that she is OK, but I am a little worried about this. Do you think this is something she should tell her doctor. Her next appointment is in 4 days, or should we go sooner?
It's normal.... Most of her body will swell. She is right! Now if she starts to get sore and her ankles swell then she should let the doctor know. 4 days is not too long to wait, I wouldn't go earlier for swollen feet.
How far along is she? Four days is not too long if it is just her feet. If her calves, face, or hands start to swell she needs to go on in. Swelling feet is normal, but when other stuff starts to swell it can be a sign of pre-eclampsia.
I agree, if you are nervous go ahead and call the doctor, but she will be going in soon anyway. It is always better to be safe than sorry, but she is probably fine.
