Has anyone ever heard of a program called ECOT? I am going to be doing more work from home so I can take care of my kids. I do not like the school they are in. Can anyone tell me what homeschooling is like?

I have not heard of ECOT, but I've considered homeschooling as well with the prices of private schools and poor conditions of the public schools. I look at the textbooks and the corresponding work, and I realize that teachers are just too overworked these days to really do the job that needs to be done. I'm going to watch this thread to learn more.

ECOT is a pretty good one, I have a friend who uses them. They gave them a loaner computer and all of the supplies were free. They even get a check each month for $15 to help cover the costs of internet.
