Kids a pre-calculated financial move.

I read a few articles how having kids and can ruin your credit score and they are a bad financial move and so on, and that having a child is around 1mil cost (I may be off on this one) from cradle to college. In my opinion thinking about children in $ is missing the point of children in the first place, whats your opinion?

Well, I don't think anyone looks at having children as being their doorway to financial sucurity, I think considering your finances before you have children is wise. In the end, though, I don't know too many people really figure out how much it will cost to raise a kid(let alone 2 or 3 or more).
