Movies for kids

What are some good movies for an 8 year old boy to be watching? I have not been keeping up with the times. We have Netflix now and I want to let him watch some movies. What do you recommend?

My daughter likes Marry Poppins and Alice in Wonderland. Pretty much any Disney cartoon movie. Open Season is another favorite. I am looking for a copy of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as I think she would like that. Netflix has a great childrens movie section.

I liked all of those films. My son gets a little bored with Disney movies. He is really in to the action movies. After seeing Iron Man I am worried that action films are getting to adult.
