How many parents here let their kids listen to the same type of music that you do? I have been listening to my local rock stations lately but I never really noticed until know how not too appropriate some of the songs are for kids.
When it comes to music, fight it however hard you want each generation will have it's own. My kids are older, so they do appreciate some of the music I listen to and some they don't.
I tend to tone it down some when any kids are in the car. Honestly I don't think it would effect anything long term. For now, I'd like to avoid getting notes sent home about my child's bad language.
Well, I would and I do expose my kids to the music I listen. But I also screen some of the stuff (which is very rare) that I find inappropriate for them to listen.
