Paying too much

Between child support and alimony, I feel like I'm drowning. I can't believe how much they have me paying. She gets 50% of my paycheck every week and it's still not enough to cover what the court has ordered me to pay. Obviously I had very bad representation when this happened. I'm about to hire a new attorney to take her back to court after the holidays and I seriously hope something changes. If it doesn't, I don't know what I'm going to do.

I pray you get the right help you need. It will require a new set of attorney's fees. So, evaluate your options very carefully. Find ways of increasing your income as well. I know half of that goes to her. But sometimes it gives some relief to think that she's not taking it all.
