I just went to a county councilman's district meeting and I am glad I did. After years of griping about the politicians in my district, I've decided to stop running my yap and do something. There definitely was a lot of hot air blowing around in there (if you get my drift) but there were rays of hope as well. I met a young man in his 20's running for council and he was quite level headed and the most promising of the bunch. Anyway, glad I went. Is anyone on the forum involved in their local politics?

I have to say I am not, after reading this post I just may go to the next meeting. I'm one that likes to complain from time to time too about how things are done around here. I'm from a small town and I could get involved.
