What forms of punishment do you use at your house? We have tried timeouts and taking toys away, but when that doesn't work we have resorted to spanking. I hate that it comes to that sometimes, but the kid is two so it's not like we can ground her.

We typically do time outs. Last time our daughter was really acting up, she knew I was mad and I sent her to her room. Closed the door and told the wife she can come out when the wife was ready. Our daughter seemed to calm down after that.

I try not to spank, the wife hates it. Maybe twice I've spanked her. One of the times it was because she was hitting the dogs.
