Raising a Teen

I can't say I could relate very well with my teen-aged son. It's bad enough that I am a single parent. Do they need a woman's touch at this stage?

I think teenagers try the patience of both moms and dads. They are trying to find their own way in life. They rebel against pretty much everybody in their life. Just give your son an ear and try to have an open mind. Remember how you felt when you were a teen.

 

[Verny]

I'm sorry for your situation but I think that you will be fine in raising your child without a mother. Teenagers need guidance on how they would live their lives and you can show them the right way even just by yourself.
