I spent all day helping my son with a resume he was supposed to have written and typed himself. I ended up doing most of the work. Then I got the bright idea to look into Microsoft Office for a template. Check before you spend all that time making your own. The template made it easy.

There are many templates out there. You want to be sure that you use a good one (up to date). I rewrite my resume every year, you never know when you will be looking for a job.

That is really smart Ed - it's one thing I was taught at my last job (when I worked in HR). You should always keep your resume sharp and up to date.

I am curious about that also. Is the resume his school assignment, or is he trying to find a part time job? Anyway, there are tons of resume templates on the internet you can choose from.
