Seperated

My wife and I have been seperated for a little over a year now. The hardest part is not sleeping in the same house as my daughter. She's a momma's girl, and I can't talk her into spending time with me (I think a lot of that has to do with her mothers "coaching." It just kills me.

Hey buddy I am sorry to hear that. You don't say how old your child is but if she is pre-school then you may find her attitude changes as she grows. Meanwhile perhaps you could try to establish a good line of communication with the ex?

Thanks Peter. I finally talked her into going out to eat with me. I hope this is the beginning of a renewed relationship with my daughter, as I love her more than I love air.

That is a tough situation to be in. It's just such a hateful thing for one parent to do to the other parent, and so completely unfair to the child being influenced.
