Sister Getting A Divorce

My sister is getting a divorce. I don't know the details of why, but she's not the easiest person to live with or please. The problem is that her husband is a good friend of mine and I don't want to break ties with him, but I don't want her to be mad or hurt. What should I do?

I've always felt that just because two people can't get along doesn't mean the rest of the family has to take sides, unless it is an extreme circumstance and it's warranted. I would just tell your sister that you support her, but you don't plan on cutting ties with your former brother-in-law.
