I'm not much of a cook, but I get by. Fortunately my daughter is very understanding. The one thing I can cook really well and that she enjoys is spaghetti. I'm getting the spices down pat and it keeps getting better.
I have to teach the wife my mothers clam sauce recipe. It is the best. My dad will make a good red sauce with country style pork ribs, but it is rare that he makes it anymore.
I'm more of a grill guy myself. When I do spaghetti, I have to pop open the jar sauce. My boy likes it pretty well and it makes just as big of a mess as homemade.
