Storm chasers killed

While danger is a part of the job when you are a storm chaser, this is still a sad story. A 3 man storm chasing/weather team was killed during the 2nd round of tornadoes that coursed through Oklahoma. It was a father and son plus another crew member.

That is quite sad news, I tend to see the clips online sometimes and wonder if I know anyone that could be that brave. Most people who keep tabs on the weather like this are not recognized for their work until it is too late (like now).

That's the thing with tornadoes; you can't predict how they behave. That's why storm chasing is very dangerous which doesn't make this any less of a tragedy.

I heard this the other day and it is too bad. One part of their job was to help figure out how tornado's are formed and how they move. Ironic. They left doing what they loved, and what they did was a service to people. People like that will be missed.
