The Brickyard 400 is today and there is a burn ban in effect. Tailgaters can't use charcoal grills. I can't imagine walking through a parking lot of tailgaters without that smell in the air.
It's a shame because it's a tradition for so many people and those who live out of state were in for a surprise when they got here.
