Thingie in throat

So technical I know! I swear I am going to gag on that thing that hangs at the back of your mouth. I am so sick and that thing is super long! Know what I am talking about?

That would be your uvula, and it can certainly get swollen when you are sick. Have you tried gargling with warm salt water to see if that soothes it?

Is it just a cold? If it really bothers you go to a clinic and get it checked out. My daughter gets that when she has a bad cold, sinus infection or strep throat.

It is better but now I have that icky thick junk in my nose and running down my throat. Okay - I have the man flu. I hate being sick and I hate not breathing.
