Toddler bedtime battles

I'm lucky that my little girl willing goes to bed most nights. But there are some nights she does not want to, no matter what. Do you have any tips or tricks for helping with that?

We found that sticking to a concrete time worked best for us. 8 p.m. meant potty time, story time, and then sleep time. As our son has gotten a little older there's been a little give, especially on the weekend, but on school nights it's still that routine.

Be consistent. Warm baths, read a story and then it's off to night, night. When my kids were little we had a routine and it always made it much easier for them to go to bed. Also don't do anything like play for about the last 2 hours a child is awake. That helps them to unwind too.

What I've done with my kids is set up a bedtime routine so they know it's time to get ready. The routine includes reading, drink of water and then a piggyback ride to bed.
