Vacation and bad weather

My family is heading out on vacation Friday afternoon. We are headed to Southern Georgia to a beach. It’s going to be a lot of fun! I’m a bit worried and I’m trying to not scare the kids. We are from Upstate NY and I keep hearing about Hurricane Irene. We don’t have hurricanes here. Are we going to run into Irene? We should get to Southern GA by early Saturday morning.

Oh no! I am so sorry to hear about your bad luck! It is probably a good idea not to scare the kids. Still, if things get bad you might rethink your plans and stay inland more. Good luck.
