When can you travel with a baby

My parents life out of town. They can't travel here and really want to see the our new little girl. When can make plans to travel with the baby?

We didn't travel until the baby was 3 months old. I guess it depends on how far you need to go. Of course this is about to be cold and flu season so I wouldn't jump the gun.

I traveled with my daughter when she was three weeks old. I had to go out of town to work (about six hours away) and my wife wanted to go with me, so we packed up the munchkin and went away for two weeks. If the baby isn't colicky and you don't mind lugging half of Babies R Us with you, go for it.
