Whites

I think I must be doing something wrong when I am washing the whites. They do not come out as white as I want them to. Does anyone know how to get your whites even whiter?

Our whites are never white - something the wife is always complaining about. I think our problem is our water though. Have you tried that Oxy Clean stuff? I've heard good things about that.

Paul, try putting about a cup or two of baking soda in your washer when you do white clothes. Also, make sure you're using a quality detergent and bleach. Store brands and generic brands just don't get the job done. If baking soda don't work, try some lemon juice.
