Why do little girls freak out over the small stuff?

My daughter got stung by a bee today and you would have thought the bee ripped her leg off by the way she yelled. She isn't allergic to them, and I know it hurts, but she was seriously flipping out. Why do little girls do that?

That is better than my sisters kids this weekend. Having three little ones can be full of surprises, all ran into the house with sting marks then she went out to battle them and got stung too!

Maybe she just wanted the attention or the drama, girls sometimes do that. It wasn't the pain, because theoretically women have higher pain thresholds than men, theoretically.

Women are more prone to panic in almost every situation. My wife panics at the sight of spiders and you'd see her stepping up on chairs and freaking out like something had hit her.
