We have been considering investing in a Wii system for our family. Cabin fever can really set in where we live. Any experience with one?

Yes. Get one! There's such a wide range of things that you can use it to start a family exercise time if you want. I think it'll be around for a while if that's what you're worried about.

Everything I hear about Wii is positive. It seems that people of all age groups have something good to say about them. I get the sense that people really use them, and that it's not some fad.

I would recommend the wii since it requires you to be moving around a lot. I noticed even the traditional video games we are standing instead of sitting. There are rumors that a new version of the wii is coming out but I haven't heard the release date. But if you feel holed up now, you should go for it and also get Wii Sports Resort as well.
