Working less and getting paid more?

Is there a job, doing which you are required to work less and get paid more? I know it's a bit of stupid question, but I am talking about working smartly instead of working hard.

Yeah you have a catchy title. But I agree with you about working smartly instead of working hard. The thing is that to be smart, you need to work hard to learn things.
