Worries

Does anyone here also have the head of the household worries like I do? Every now and then and its nothing against the other half, I sometimes worry what will happen if I go first. Its not that she does not have a job that pays good, but I worry "what if" too much. I hope I am not alone here.

I try not to think about me not being here. We have a will in place and we both have great life insurance. That is about the best thing you can do to ensure that your wife and kids will be financially fit.

All the time. I worry about all sorts of things, and sometimes imagine all sorts of scenarios. They say it is normal, but they also say talking to yourself is normal and people still look at me strange when I do it.

Thinking about those scenarios makes you think of ways to cushion the effects it will have on your loved ones, and prepare for it. That is the positive side of it that we can do something about.
