I get 5 weeks of vacation each year and I love it. I always take a week at Christmas and then a couple of weeks in the summer. The rest of the time I use for a day here or there. It works for me.

No, but it sounds like fun. I think it would be cool to even include the neighborhood kids. It sounds like something we would have done as kids. All of us kids got together and made up skits and then we put on a show.

My best advice would be to stay at the head of the bed. My wife had to deliver by c-section too and I stayed at her head. I went down to cut the cord and I about passed out.

I bought the tickets tonight! I can't wait to go see Brad in concert. I have never been before so it should be a lot of fun. I'm taking my wife of course so it will be a great night out. We are going to rent a hotel room and make a night of it.

I'm sure your child did great! It sounds like the same thing that our kids go through here too. We go to 1 room and the kids to another. They want to see how the kids act without their parents around.

It depends on what kind of concert and what time the concert is. I don't see anything wrong with taking a child 8 or older to a country concert. You also have to think about the other people that will be there - how they will act - will there be alcohol involved, etc.

I burn easily too so I wear it. It's not about liking it, it's about protecting my skin. I'm all for that! Besides how can I not wear it and make my kids - teach by example remember?

OMG - that is crazy! Sounds like a kid gone wrong. I can't imagine my kids doing anything like this! They get grounded from time to time (when they are lippy) and thank God they never shot me with anything.

We do both, camp and go on picnics. We also go on hikes! My family loves the outdoors so we spend as much time as we can out there. Granddad that is super that your kids now do the same with their kids.

I was taught the same way - toss me in and swim! I did fine and of course my dad was there to jump in if I needed it. I took my kids in the pools when they were super young. I wanted them to get used to the water. We also took them to swimming lessons from the age of 4-8.
