I admit I chuckled when I saw the dad shoot the laptop. I'm sorry, but if he only destroyed her laptop, she got off lucky. Did you hear her list of chores? My teenage daughter wished she could trade those minimal chores for the ones she currently has.

I read about this elsewhere. The dad said that he didn't want his son to end up a statistic. I think he did a good thing and it's a life lesson that the son will always remember. Good for him.

Big difference between this dad and the one with the sign. The kid in Florida looked like he was just fine sitting out on the corner with his sign. Kneeling for that long had to be awfully painful for this child. This particular punishment was cruel.

It's pure adrenaline and the instinct to protect your child. Think about all the stories of people lifting cars or going to other extremes to save the life of a child. There's no telling what you would do to save a life.

LOL. I don't know about NOT ever buying a vacuum cleaner or other household-related item. I guess it depends on the person you are buying it for. Personally, I wouldn't want it, but my mother preferred to receive household-items. You can never, ever go wrong with flowers, jewelry or a spa day.
