I can relate to this issue. My son who decides 6am is the best time to be up decided last night he wanted to stay up until 1130pm. Even after being up the night before until 10pm because we were out looking at houses. It was terrible and now he was a complete grump today!

I home school and do not have this issue at all. However, I do have to agree you should have some form of homework. Never know maybe he is lying about not having any homework at all.

Why mess with mother nature. She knows best and maybe your son is meant to be shorter. I mean I was supposed to only be 5'5" and now I am over 6 foot. So if I had been treated with that garbage I would have ended up way off the charts.

I think the ideal present would be able to spend the entire day with my family in the mountains. Not having to worry about work or anything else. Without this I would go crazy and often dream of reaching the day of getting to enjoy my family.

I do not care if any of the pets stay in my kids rooms. I just have to set the rules that the pets stay on the floor and are not to be played with when they are supposed to be sleeping.

I know my wife does not like the fact that I work from home. She was mowing the lawn the other day and started complaining about me sitting on my butt and not doing anything because I was making us some money on the computer.

I always talked to my kids when they were younger. I know that many people have ignored there children at this age. However, for me I will not ignore my kids because it seems like I am neglecting them all the time.

My town is small, but it does not even do that! It is great that the city you live in would want to do this. Heck, even the big city near me does not do that because of the liability they claim it would cost them to much to put on the picnic.
