A friend of mine is ready to take his relationship to a more serious level. He has a good job, and he loves his partner and gets along with her very well. But he still hesitates to propose the woman. He said he wouldn't be able to accept a rejection.
I just read on another forum about urine therapy, and I don't think it is something I would try myself. The idea is taking your own urine to cure your disease. What do you think?
Just curious, have you ever worked for any of your friends, or had any professional or business relationships with them? Did it work well for both of you?
What is part of getting older you hate the most, if any? Is it losing hair, gaining weight, getting sick more easily, or losing your memory, or losing friends of your age?
I respect fathers and husbands who stay at home being homemakers either by situation or by choice. But I just cannot understand my brother in law. He is currently unemployed (I suspect by choice), smoking, and his wife (my sister) still cooks for him. They haven't got a child yet.
Does being a homemaker make you a bit 'feminine', whatever it means? You know you have to do (wo)manly stuff like taking care of the kids and the like.
Have you ever happened to take care of other children? Did you treat the kids like you treat your own kids, or did you treat the kids like their parents treat them?
Do you read aloud to your kids, or is it the wife who does the job? I like to read aloud to the kids and sometimes I do it in (what I think is) a dramatic way. I think the kids also like it.
Have your kids ever asked why you dad stay at home taking care of them and mom works to make a living, while all their friends' dads are the breadwinners in the family?
How did you become a single parent? Did you divorce, or have you never got married and you just adopted the kids? Sorry I am just curious, feel free not to reply if it's too personal for you.
How would you make a four year old boy stay still in front of the camera? The youngest has a problem with that. Also, he seems to hate the camera. He always cries when we take pictures of him.
What do you think about the Mozart Effect? Do you really believe that your pregnant wife listening to classical music would make the baby smarter and healthier?
Have you watched the latest Transformers movie? I don't really get into robotic movies, it's just not my thing. But the kids want to watch the movie. Is it even appropriate for kids?
My son seems to be interested in fishing and he asked me to teach him fishing, which is fine. The problem is that I have never fished before. I never get into fishing, mind you. Any suggestion?
