That sounds pretty normal to me. I have a four and two year old and of course they don't want hot chocolate hot. We make it and let it sit on the counter for about 20 minutes and then they drink it. By then it is room temperature and bordering on cold.

My son doesn't talk nearly as much as my daughter did at the same age and I think that some of it is because they don't have too. My daughter talks "for him" all of the time, and they have their own language for each other.

We have got a 41 inch flat screen in our living room and I think that it is plenty big enough. It was a huge upgrade from our previous 12 year old TV though.
