    Bath Time

it's not manatory to wash them every time they get a little dust on them. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

How often do you let your child watch television?

I let him watch between an hour to two hours in a day. it depends on what other activities we have planned for the day.

    Why do children like rap?

Do you have some kind of statistics to support your belief that kids who listen to rap grow up to become criminals? I listened to rap growing up. So did all of my friends. Why are we going to become criminals because of rap?

    Not the coach, but...

I wouldn't think it would be too hard to keep my thoughts to myself. Is your daughter having fun? I wonder if you might consider that part of it. If she's not taking it too seriously, neither should you.

    Eating control

We are a little strict on the amount of sweets he has. He can eat as much of the regular food as he wants. he seems to stop when he's full, so we don't worry about him over eating.

Are you planning your child's first trip to Disneyland/World

I never got to go to Disney World when I was a kid. I went when I was 35. I loved it as much as if I were a little kid. Now my son is getting close to the age where he can go and get something out of it. I'm going crazy with excitement. Is anybody planning a trip to Disney in Orlando...

    Teach your children to swim

My son is about 1 1/2 right now and he loves the water. He will learn own his own whether we teach him or not - I can already see that. I learned on my own just from going to the pool everyday. He's on the same track right now.

    Bath Time

We usually wash our son after everything is said and done. The only time we wash him early is if and when his diaper leaks or something out of the ordinary happens.

    Bedtime stories

We started when my son was really young. He was only a few months old. He had absolutely NO interest in it. Then seemingly overnight he went from hating it to loving it. Not only does he want to read at night, he wants to read in the morning when he wakes up.

    a new one

That's pretty awesome. Reading your post brought me back to the delivery room, where my son came after being a week late! He was our first, and I still remember it like is was this morning.

    Grumpy Baby

Mine went through that stage at that age. Probably the worst period in the year and a half of his life. It is just a stage and it will pass. Even though it seems like it won't right now. Just tough it out.

How are you liking it so far?

The only thing I would change is the amount of money in my bank account. Once that is a non-factor, I will consider myself living in paradise.

Does Your Wife Or Significant Other Ever Deride You For Being A Stay-At-Home Dad?

I work from home, so I guess it's not exactly what you mean. I only know of one woman who worked while the husband stayed home. At least outwardly, it didn't seem like there were any problems. Obviously I didn't live there, so I don't really know.

    Sahm & sahf

We are both at home. The children want to spend time with each of you, or both together whenever the opportunity arises. We as parents mainly spend our days trying to keep them occupied and out of trouble. I prefer this except during those times when money is tight. Otherwise, it's a perfect set...

    Playdates

I haven't been invited to one yet. My wife has. I really have no interest in them truthfully. If I am invited I would go, but if I'm not needed, I'll find something else to do.

    Girl

Before we found out we were having a boy, we had the, "what should we name it if it's a . . ." discussion. It took no time at all to pick a boy's name. But for some reason, it took us forever to pick a girl's name. Did anybody else find this to be the case when you had the "name" discussion?

First Timer - Just Discovered the Gender

My question to you is this: Which name was easier to pick? The boy's name or the girl's name. Before we found out the sex, we had the "name" discussion. It took about 20 minutes to pick a boy's name. It took like two days to pick a girl's name :>

    Twins running in the family

It's not something I would count on. The only way I would expect that your chances of having twins goes up is if you wait until later in life to have them. Otherwise, I think the chances are still pretty low.
