    Christmas Bonuses?

I got a bonus that was pretty good. Most of it went to my daughter via the gifts for Christmas, so it really did help this year.

Joggling between a friend and an authority?

It is a fine line, but after time you, as a parent, learn how to walk it well. In time it's just going to be a given that you have the last word on things.

    Happy New Years

I'll keep that poem in mind while I'm working tonight. All my days of celebrating like a wild animal are over but I do plan on talking to my daughter when the clock strikes 2013.

    Music And Sports

When it comes to children, patience really is a virtue. In the meantime, recognize what you and your wife are good at as well as enjoy and then take it from there when the time is right.

    Playoff feeling

Chicago still has a chance on paper, but with Green Bay in the same division, they're not going to go far. They do have a way of making a football game interesting though.

    Big Ben out!

If the pass is fumbled or just not caught, it's the receivers fault. If the receiver can't even touch a pass, the route went wrong somewhere. Hard to say if it's the quarterback or the receiver in that case. But I think they' should've given Ben more time.

    When The Ex Is Mad

What's the best way to handle this when you want to see your child? Me, I can't take a lot of emotional ups and downs from her, the main reason we're divorced, but I don't want to not see my daughter just because of this either. I'm just afraid that if I meet her under these conditions things...

    Son Divorced Again

Have you asked him what the problem was? Has he at least explained everything to the children and grandchildren involved? It is his personal life but there are other people who deserve explanations.

    Just Got Some News...

Sometimes these genetic things skip a generation. You should keep that in mind. None of my family has twins but I think it would be special. Twins seem to have a bond that add something extra to the family unit.

    Optimistically Skeptical......

Obama is getting more aggressive with being bi-partisan, but I see Republicans as being the sticks in the mud here. They're like stubborn children who pout when they don't get their way.

    Re-locating

If you were divorced with visitation rights and had the opportunity, would you re-locate, say, 100 miles away from where your child/children live in order to make more money to support them better?

    Bead-making daddy

LOL........That's too funny. You're just a big teddy bear....admit it. I can relate though. My daughter just turned a teenager and she's still daddy's little girl. She's perfectly capable but guess who cooks her breakfast on the days when I get to go see her? Daddy.

    What breaks your heart?

Knowing my little girl won't be my little girl forever is what breaks my heart. I know she can't stay young forever, but that doesn't help much sometimes. I look at the world around me sometimes and I just want to keep her safe and innocent forever.

    Oldest Night Trained

Congratulations. 3 is pretty young but every child is different. I can't remember how old our daughter was when she was at that stage but I don't think it was 3.
