Angry Birds?

Do you think there should be an age restriction to play Angry Birds? I love the game and I can say that I play it on my computer almost regularly, but I think the game contains mild violence and is not so suitable for younger kids.

Yeah, I think the game is a bit violent and inappropriate for younger kids. I don't like the idea of flinging the birds to the rocky structures to kill the green pigs.

Haven't played the game, but I do think we are starting to be a tad bit overprotective with our young ones. I mean back in the day the Coyote used to get squashed regularly, so was Tom and other cartoon characters and we turned out pretty normal.

What is angry birds? Where do you play it and was it designed for kids? The cartoons like Tom and Jerry, were different. I didn't see that as real violence, just funny cartoons. I didn't think it was real, and there wasn't blood and guts. If you don't think tv has become worse, you're not living in reality. When I was a kid, I would watch tv and once in a while you'd hear a cuss word. It was rare. Now, you have pretty much everything up to mild porn. Times have changed.

I think it depends the age and most kids when told by an adult understand that it is only a game. It is not like my youngest is going to try and catch a bird now and wiz it off at something.

I think that the fact that some young kids are throwing rocks at animals is more cause for concern than, your kid throwing digital birds at pigs, than again only you can decide what's best for your children.

I meant the cartoons we watched when we were kids, in the sense that they had mild violence to, so people shouldn't freak out if the same thing happens in a game since most of the games are gorefests these days.
