Baby Slings

Hey daddies or daddies-to-be! I just saw my buddy Fred and he had on one of the coolest things I had ever seen. He called it the baby sling. Apparently this has been around for quite a while. Well --- my youngest is 12 so I do not know much about babies anymore. It looks like this:

I didn't have one for my daughter, but I've seen them around. In hindsight I kind of wish we did get her one. How old are babies when they grow out of it?

I guess it depends on how heavy your baby is really. According to Fred, most babies grow out of it around a year and a half to two years old.

That is so cool! I was watching a movie the other night and one of the ladies who had a baby in the story had one. Her's was beige though and it looked wider than this. It would sure help a lot with the arm fatigue.

I've been hearing more and more about these. It is tempting. I heard that it is supposed to make the baby cry less, and mimics the way they are in the mothers stomach.
