I remember just 12 years ago, how nice my wife's room was. The floor was hardwood, there was nice mohagany paneling on the walls and nice comfy chairs to sit in. Have there been any changes in the past 12 years?

I do not know. But some of them that I saw where the wife is going to give birth had a couch, I think one or two rooms actually had a separate sitting room, TV with vcr/dvd, the one we were in had a table and chairs, a full bath (shower no bathtub), and was general nice. They had in the waiting room a monitor with everyone that was in there and what stage they were in. One family was there while giving birth and it shown how far along she was going and when the child was born and when the family was allowed to go in and visit.
