My step-daughter is about to get her license and I want to get her a car. She seems to think that her "real" dad should have input and I don't think so since I am paying and can do mechanics. Thoughts?
This is a difficult issue. I can totally see why you feel this way but as she is asking for her biological dad to be involved...well there's the key. This is the moment when you need to swallow your feelings and give a little.
I know, but I'm not as big a man as wife, she just lets everything roll off her back. He helps with nothing at all and he gets credit for everything I do for his family. I have some learning to do.
