Cell Phones?

When I've got all three kids over with me for the week, it gets a little hectic keeping track of all of them on my own. At 10, 12, and 14...do you think it's okay to get them all cell phones? Should I just give to the oldest, or oldest two? I really don't want to imagine what my 10 and 12 years olds would do with cell phones, to be honest.

How about getting them prepaid cells? It only allows them to spend so much time a month on calls plus most of the prepaid cells aren't the technologically advanced ones. It would allow you to control the amount of money they spend but even if they run out of minutes they can still dial 911 if necessary.

I think there are service providers that offer extension plans for kids. The limit is pre-determined and the billing goes to the main account. You should activate the tracking before you give it to them.
